1) Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins would be the ideal guy to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship away from Roman Reigns. It may not be for a while, but it would make the most sense.

The Architect never technically “lost” his title. Like other recent champions (Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett), the belt had to be vacated due to torn knee ligaments that Rollins suffered during a WWE live event match against Kane last month. If Rollins can return healthy while Reigns still holds the belt, he should be the top option to win it.

The Reigns vs. Rollins feud has been held off multiple times. They were supposed to wrestle at WWE Night of Champions 2014 before Reigns suffered an incarcerated hernia. They were then scheduled to main event Survivor Series last month before Rollins’ injury. Once he is healthy, a feud could be in the works.

With Rollins projected to return during the summer, a feud for the belt between the two could work for WWE SummerSlam. It would be a highly anticipated match and since Reigns’ run with the title will be at nine months when the event rolls around, the championship changing hands could be beneficial.
