Triple H places bounty of Roman Reigns

Last Sunday’s TLC main event resulted in Sheamus retaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with assists from the League of Nations teammates and the Authority; which led to Roman Reigns providing a memorable attack on Triple H. This led to Vince McMahon returning and booking a win-or-fired stipulation for Reigns’ rematch for the title.

Not only did Reigns win the championship in front of a loud and supportive Philadelphia crowd, he also earned a knockout on Mr. McMahon. Considering that Triple H was seen days ago at the NXT:Takeover event in the U.K., there’s no reason to think that the WWE’s COO hasn’t recovered enough from his injuries to at least appear tonight.

The show will start with Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon walk out to the ring with microphones in hand. Hunter can talk about the attacks and how he’s not very pleased and requests Reigns to come down to the ring. The champion appears and they exchange words back and forth.

Triple H can tease stripping the title from Reigns, but maybe he decides he wants to have a little bit of fun by making Reigns’ championship reign a living hell. This could be where Triple H announces that anyone who can place Reigns on the shelf will be able to claim a large reward. Reigns will also have a match that also puts the odds against him – either a gauntlet series or a two-on-one handicap match that will in either way involve the former champion Sheamus.
