Could a Jeff Hardy return in the near future be in the cards?

TNA star Jeff Hardy who is currently injured recently sat down with Ric Flair for his “WOOOO! Nation” podcast. Among the topics Flair asked Hardy about one major question was if Jeff would ever consider returning to WWE before his career is over. Hardy answered the questions leaving fans with both hope and enthusiasm regarding a possible return.

"“I think there’s a huge possibility down the road. I’m not sure when, but I think both Matt and myself would love to end our careers in the WWE and it’d be super, double great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz, for sure. As far as us returning [to WWE] and having some more matches with them, it all depends on how long they’re going to be there and how long it takes us to get there. I mean, but, definitely, it’s a possibility. I’m just not sure when right now”"

The answer Hardy gave allows fans to be both happy about his desires to come back, and excitement about the possible feuds we could see. With the Dudley Boys (Bubba Ray & Devon) coming back to help aid the tag division, bringing back the Hardys would really shoot adrenaline into the division. Along with seeing the Dudleys and Hardys clash again like we did in the early 2000’s there are now a multitude of new teams that we could see The Hardys clash with.

The Hardys could also feud with the likes of the New Day and Lucha Dragons. The New Day and Lucha Dragons have emerged as two of the most popular and over tag teams in the last few years. The high-flying battles The Hardys could engage with these two teams would be great for the fans and for teams like The New Day and Lucha Dragons to get experience working a program with one of the most popular teams of all time.

Teams in the NXT such as Enzo and Big Cass, Blake and Murphy and Dash and Dawson would also benefit from working with The Hardys in a program. Along with working with the tag teams, Hardy could also work in the singles division with both the mid card and main eventers. Having held virtually every singles championship in WWE, Hardy’s pedigree would match up with anyone in WWE right now.
