Where is Triple H?
Triple H has not been seen since his Wrestlemania 32 loss to Roman Reigns. Will the Game be involved in the storyline feud between Shane and Stephanie McMahon?
During the WWE Payback pay-per-view on Sunday night, WWE chairman Vince McMahon decided on which one of his children would be in control of Monday Night Raw.
The expectation was that McMahon would select his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, over his son, Shane McMahon. Instead, Vince decided to shake things up. Vince announced on Sunday that Stephanie and Shane will have equal power in the control of Monday Night Raw.

But there was one person missing from Sunday’s segment involving the McMahons. That person was WWE’s COO Triple H. Triple H has not been seen on WWE programming since his Wrestlemania 32 loss to Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Odder than Triple H’s lack of use on WWE programming is the fact that he has not been mentioned in the McMahon storyline since Shane McMahon returned in February.

There is no doubt that Stephanie McMahon has grown over the course of the past two years into the company’s top heel but Triple H had always come off as the cornerstone of The Authority. Despite Triple H coming off as the cornerstone of The Authority, there was hardly any mention of him during the McMahon segment on Sunday night at WWE Payback.
This would beg the question where is Triple H?
Chances are WWE is saving Triple H’s return until they have something meaningful for him. But, that still would be a plot hole considering Triple H was a regular on WWE programming given his role in The Authority. But, if you consider the fact that when the Cerebral Assassin was on WWE programming, there was a continuous build to his next feud. That was the case for his recent feuds with Roman Reigns and Sting. That was even the case too when Triple H took Seth Rollins under his wing. While Triple H was propping up Rollins as the next “face” of the WWE, there were subtle hints toward an eventual match between the two.

The guess here is that Triple H will return as the muscle in the storyline feud between Shane and Stephanie McMahon. There is no doubt that there will be an eventual match that decides who has full control over Monday Night Raw. That match will likely take place at SummerSlam. Triple H will return in enough time to wrestle on the behalf of The Authority in that SummerSlam match. And, perhaps that match is against Seth Rollins. Rollins could return and align himself with Shane after feeling betrayed by The Authority.
