How WWE Should Use Dana Brooke

With her partner Emma now on the shelf, what now lies for the future of Dana Brooke on the main roster?

On a recent episode of Raw, Dana Brooke joined the main roster. In what has become a bit of trend over the last few weeks, she became the newest arrival from NXT to join the main roster. After helping Emma attack her rival Becky Lynch, it looked as the faction of Dana and Emma which had started down in NXT would now be on the main roster.

The hope was that with Tamina and Naomi on the shelf, Brooke and Emma would become the new heel team for the Women’s division. However, their run as a team would come to a close quickly as Emma injured her back over the weekend at a house show.

Emma’s injury was bad enough that she requires surgery to repair her back. There is no timetable as of now for her return, but when with a back injury a quick return does not seem likely. So the question now arises what to do with Dana Brooke?

After Emma went down, I had a strong feeling that WWE might quietly send Brooke back down to NXT. It would make sense, as she is relatively still new and more work down in NXT wouldn’t be a bad thing. She could’ve had a run as the NXT women’s champion until she was ready to be recalled.

However, as we saw on Raw, Dana is indeed staying on the main roster. After a huge win over Becky Lynch on RAW, what will the future going forward look like for Brooke?

With Dana Brooke’s look and build, the obvious way to use her is to make her the next powerhouse/monster female in the division. WWE has lacked a powerhouse female since Beth Phoenix left the company.

They have tried multiple times with Tamina, but every time they did it failed. Dana has a look that is very comparable to both Beth Phoenix and the late Chyna. WWE could have the former fitness model run rapid in the division.

With her strength and power, she could match up and dominate any female on the roster. She could rip through the division until she meets who ever the women’s champion is at the time. WWE then must decide whether she is ready for the championship or not.

Eventually, WWE could have the former NXT star feud with Nia Jax. Dana Brooke could take down every female on the roster and then battle the power full Nia Jax to decide who the most dominant female truly is.

With Brooke going solo it looks like for the foreseeable future having her as the wrecking ball of the Women’s division is the best way to go with her. Brooke has strong enough mic skills and personality that she could hold her own on the microphone as well.

Emma going down could potentially be the best thing to happen to Dana Brooke. It gives her a chance to build a name all on her own, and it could lead her to become the top heel in the whole division.
