WWE Battleground 2016: Full Match Card

WWE Battleground is live Sunday night, here’s a look at the full match card.
It’s that time of the month again for a WWE pay-per-view, with WWE Battleground coming live from the Verizon Centre in Washington, DC.
With the WWE Draft only a few days old, we’ll see the culmination of several feuds, feuds which have seen opposing participants drafted to opposite brands, and team mates that are no longer on the same show.

In the main event, we will see a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship with all three former members of The Shield set to do battle for the WWE’s biggest title. Champion Dean Ambrose defends against Seth Rollins and the returning Roman Reigns, Reigns is back after serving his 30-day suspension for a violation of the Wellness Policy.

Both of the second tier Championships are contested tonight. United States Champion Rusev defends against Zack Ryder, could we possibly see Mojo Rawley help out his Hype Bros tag team partner? Intercontinental Champion The Miz will face a newly rejuvenated Darren Young, the deciding factor in this match could be former WWE Champion Bob Backlund in the corner of Young.
The Club triumvirate of AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows will go head to head with the trio of John Cena, Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Cena has had some big problems with The Club in the last month or so, he now has some much-needed backup.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will do battle in the next chapter of their almost 15-year war, what more can they do to inflict pain on each other? The New Day and The Wyatt Family will go at it in a six man war, Bray Wyatt seems to have got into the head of Xavier Woods, can the Power of Positivity overcome the fear of the Wyatts?
In the Women’s Division, we will see Women’s Champion Charlotte team with Dana Brooke to face Sasha Banks and a mystery partner. Many names have been suggested as to who could be the team mate of Sasha, with everyone from Bayley to Nia Jax and Trish Stratus suggested. Elsewhere Becky Lynch will do battle with Natalya, the two women were partners until Natalya attacked Becky earlier this month.
One final big return will see Randy Orton return to be a part of Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. Orton has been out injured for months, and is set to face Brock Lesnar at Summerslam.
On the pre-show, we will see Breezango, Tyler Breeze and Fandango, will go against Jimmy and Jey, The Usos.
