With AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows (The Club) being split up in the draft, it sets up the opportunity for The Club to wreck havoc on both brands.

Tuesday night the WWE Draft took place on the first ever edition of Smackdown Live. RAW and Smackdown selected superstars to make up their roster going forward. Both shows got major stars and the brands now create new storylines and new opportunities for superstars.

Like any draft friends, factions and allies were split up and sent to different brands. One of these factions which were split up was The Club (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, & Luke Gallows). This happened when AJ Styles was selected by Smackdown with their second pick. Gallows and Anderson were then selected by RAW.

While many thought this signified the end of The Club, Anderson warned fans that despite going to separate shows, this is only the beginning. During a backstage interview on Smackdown, he revealed that The Club was going to run on both RAW and Smackdown.

Doing this would be a fantastic idea for WWE to run. In the past, factions during the Brand Extension only ran on one show. Groups like Evolution, The Cabinet and DX were on one show. The Club would do something that has never happened during a Brand Extension, have a faction take over two shows.

The Club has the makings to create history by doing this. Styles on Smackdown could recruit new members to help him run the program. This show has a young roster and adding young stars such as Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, and American Alpha could create a deadly faction.

AJ seems poised to be one of the top guys on Smackdown going forward, having him create a version of The Club would be must watch. The young stars who join him would certainly jump start their careers.

On the RAW side, Anderson and Gallows have an old friend that they can align themselves with on the show. That man is Finn Balor. Balor history with Anderson and Gallows spans back all the way back to their New Japan days.

Finn Balor was the original leader of The Bullet Club which Anderson and Gallows were in. This sets up the perfect opening storyline for Balor on the main roster. The former NXT Champion could become the leader of The Club on RAW and use Anderson and Gallows as his muscle.

Balor could use The Club to climb the ladder on the main roster, and ascend into the main event picture on RAW. With Styles leading The Club on Smackdown and Balor on RAW, the group would become the most powerful faction WWE has seen in years.

The Club has a chance to truly leave their mark in WWE. Having two versions of the group dominate both brands would be an interesting and exciting thing happen to kick off this new era in WWE.

AJ Styles and Finn Balor both have the star power to lead The Club on both shows. Having The Club run the yards on both RAW and Smackdown would be exciting to see and would kick off the brand extension with a bang.
