WWE: Emmalina Makes ‘Highly-Anticipated’ Raw Re-Debut (Video)

Emmalina actually showed up on WWE Raw after nearly five months of vignettes.

When Emma went down with a back injury in May 2016, it stalled her return to the WWE main roster, which had taken place a few months prior. In October, she would have vignettes begin to play for her return to the ring as “Emmalina”, a seemingly model-like gimmick transformation for the Australian Superstar.

Well, for the next five months, WWE played clips for the re-debut of Emmalina, teasing her return every week. However, it never happened, even after they said she would be appearing on an episode of Raw in December.

On February 13, the wait would finally be over. At long last, we had Emmalina return to WWE Raw. She had the microphone and said how the fans had to wait for 17 weeks, saying “here I am”. However, Emmalina then said she is transforming to “Emma”.

One gigantic trolling — that’s exactly what this is. We noted last week how this was WWE’s ultimate troll job on the fans, as they’ve waited for Emmalina for weeks. So the company sees the responses and toys with everyone. There may also be no plan for the former NXT star, though, which could be why she’s sat on the sidelines all these months.

Given what happened on Raw, it seems Emmalina is going back to Emma… maybe? Possibly? At this point, who knows? But that’s the nature of whatever is going on here — it’s messing with the fans who have reacted to her not showing up on Raw during the past five months of videos.
