No. 1 Contenders Battle Royal

In light of Randy Orton’s unwillingness to compete against his leader, Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania, GM Daniel Bryan stated last week on Talking Smack, that a Battle Royal would decide the new number contender for the WWE Championship. This is an interesting turn of events, to say the least on SmackDown Live. Who will be the favorite to win this Battle Royal? Surely, you would consider AJ Styles and John Cena the likely favorites to win at the moment.

The main question here is, what will be the ultimate result as we head into Wrestlemania? I firmly believe Randy Orton will still face off against Wyatt in the main event. Will the winner of this Battle Royal essentially make the main event a triple threat? Or will Orton eventually face off against the winner of the Battle Royal to decide who goes on to face Wyatt? I will put my money on Cena or Styles to take the victory here, perhaps setting up another match-up with Orton and Cena down the road. Likely, other feuds will be set up through this match as well.
