Best: The Booking of the Raw Women’s Championship Match

Building to the Raw Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania 33 was the main goal here. They did that in a big way with Bayley, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks. Though, Nia Jax’s loss left much to be desired on her end.

It all started with Bayley requesting Charlotte tell Dana Brooke not to come to ringside. When Charlotte made her entrance, Brooke walked out on stage, but Charlotte angrily sent her back. Banks was nowhere to be found during entrances, or most of the match. It wasn’t until the end that Banks made her presence known.

The match was really good. It was nice to see callbacks to their match at Royal Rumble, and their Raw championship match a few weeks back, with Bayley learning from past mistakes this time. That’s a big thing in her maturation, as she tries to become a believable champion in the underdog role.

When Banks came out, Bayley was reeling, and Charlotte looked in complete control. She stopped Charlotte from hitting her top-rope moonsault to the outside, and made sure the ref stopped a pinfall attempt, when Charlotte had a hold of Bayley’s tights.

If they follow this up properly, we could see a well-executed double-turn, with Banks going full-heel, and Charlotte entering the tweener role, between Bayley and Banks.
