Who will compete for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 33?

Heading into Monday’s episode of Raw, Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass was hyped up. The winner would get Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for the Raw Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday, Apr. 2.

Well, Anderson and Gallows decided to interfere in the No. 1 Contender’s match on Raw, leaving no winner. They were eventually met by the potentially soon-to-be-fired Raw General Manager, Mick Foley. Livid with what happened, Foley told the champs that due to their beatdown on the two tag teams, the Raw Tag Team Championship match will become a triple threat.

This marks the first time since WrestleMania 31 that tag team titles will be defended at the Show of Shows. New Day, who held the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 32, faced the League of Nations in a non-title match.

Gallows and Anderson will make their WrestleMania debuts next month. They arrived to the WWE shortly after WrestleMania 32 and went on to be a main part of the tag team division. It took them a handful of attempts to win tag team gold, but finally pulled this off at the 2017 Royal Rumble PPV, defeating Cesaro and Sheamus.

It will also be the WrestleMania debut for Amore and Cass. They appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania 32, but haven’t been able to capture championships since. Will the upcoming Showcase of Immortals be their time to shine?

Cesaro and Sheamus famously ended New Day’s record WWE Tag Team Championship reign in December. However, they only went on to hold the belts for about six weeks. Will they get a second reign?
