Christopher Daniels (c) vs Dalton Castle for the ROH World Title

Christopher Daniels finally broke through the glass ceiling and grabbed the honorable brass ring to win the ROH World title that eluded him for so long. His match against Adam Cole at the 15th Anniversary Show was incredible and his title win felt earned and well deserved.

His opponent, Dalton Castle, is also unbelievably over. Castle and his Boys were defeated by the Kingdom at ROH’s 15th Anniversary, much to the chagrin of the ROH faithful.

This main event is a clash of styles (no pun intended). You have the high-flying Indy legend who finally won the belt taking on the new Indy darling who is in the vein of the New Era’s Gorgeous George.

In similar fashion to the TV title match, this match is not about storyline. This match is about the competitors. Simply put, this main event is the antithesis of Brock Lesnar Vs Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania.

If Castle wins, it could be considered an upset but it could also be perceived as Ring of Honor just creating another main event star. Castle has yet to capture any gold in ROH and winning the World Title as your first strap would certainly be a statement.

If the Fallen Angel wins, the much-deserved storybook reign continues. All things considered, it is hard to picture Daniels not walking out of Supercard of Honor as the World Champion.
