Following WrestleMania 33, the Undertaker received a big standing ovation from those backstage.

At WrestleMania 33, the Undertaker potentially wrestled his final match. He lost to Roman Reigns and received a send-off from the Camping World Stadium fans to close the show. This includes ‘Taker leaving his ring gear in the center of the squared circle, a possible symbolic gesture of this being the end of the line for him.

In the middle of this, Undertaker briefly broke character by kissing his wife, former WWE star Michelle McCool, at ringside in the front row of the crowd. He then continued his departure into the night.

Following this, a video popped up on Twitter of the Dead Man with McCool, backstage at WrestleMania 33. As they walked through the area, everyone started giving Undertaker a round of applause.

It was potentially the final time for Undertaker in a WWE ring. If so, it was the end of a remarkable career, spanning over a quarter century. He did just about everything possible in WWE, including main eventing multiple WrestleMania events, winning championships, running stables, having memorable feuds and creating moments fans will never forget.

This will all lead to a WWE Hall of fame induction for the Phenom. He would headline any class the company chooses to put him in, whenever that may be. They had a quick turnaround for Sting after he was forced to retire in 2015, by putting him in the 2016 Hall of Fame. Maybe, the same will be done for Undertaker for 2018 in New Orleans, LA, during WrestleMania 34 week.
