In our main event of the evening, Charlotte and Naomi met to determine who would end the night as Women’s Champion. With the challenger already leading their current series at 1-0, it was crucial for Naomi to score the win. She fought with a tenacity and determination that has won her waves of fan support in the past, all in the name of retaining her title. The champion wasn’t going to walk away easily though, as Charlotte fought tooth and nail to add another championship to her list of accolades.
Displaying the competitive fire that made their last match so enjoyable, both women put everything they had into the contest. Counters were rampant, and every time one took control the other was there to stop the onslaught. Their performance here tonight made the championship appear to be as valuable and prestigious than ever before.
As the match progressed further and further, it seemed as though Naomi was starting to approach a victory. That belief changed drastically when Carmella, James Ellsworth, Natalya, and Tamina Snuka all hit the ring. The trio of women made short work of the exhausted competitors inside the ring, using this time to make a strong statement. Starting tonight, it seems as though a new faction of women is going to take over the Blue Brand.
