1. A Surprise Appearance from Brock Lesnar

While Brock Lesnar won’t be defending his newly-won Universal Championship at Payback, that does not mean he might show up. Yes, Lesnar has only a select few dates scheduled, but both he and WWE can come to an agreement on which dates he needs to appear for.

A Lesnar appearance at Payback would accomplish many things. First, it would get a huge reaction, because it’s Brock Lesnar and many people still adore him. Second, it would act as a great reminder for the over-arching rivalry Vince wants between Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

Third, it would remind the fans that Lesnar is the champion, so that the belt doesn’t become an afterthought. Finally, it could lead to an assault of some kind at the hands of Brock Lesnar, which is always appreciated by WWE’s bloodthirsty audience.
