WWE Payback 2017: 4 Potential Swerves That Could Happen

1. The Demon King Returns

Could there be anything better for Payback than to have Finn Balor show up during The House Of Horrors match, as the Demon King? It would add so much more to this matchup and excellently set up a feud for Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt. We have not seen the Demon King since last year and bringing him back without warning is sure to get people tuning in and talking. Payback would then be a must watch, who knows what could happen in that scenario.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt was teased upon Finn’s return, and the thought of these two locking up in the ring is a dream. But since then we haven’t had much on that front, Wyatt has been busy with Orton and once this is resolved it opens him up for a fresh challenge. Perhaps it is too soon for these two to feud, but this has enough excitement to warrant a long term program. This is even something that could finish up at SummerSlam, and starting it now definitely builds suspense.

Seeing the return of the Demon King would be the highlight of Payback, it will get everyone excited and anything could happen next. It feels strange that WWE hasn’t done much with Balor since his return, so this swerve could be the right move to prove they are listened and care about their fans.
