5. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens – Elimination Chamber 2015

This was the best match between John Cena and Kevin Owens. Although this match and their bout at Money In the Bank were both stellar wrestling matches, this one beats the MITB match by a narrow margin.

The reason this Cena-Owens match was better was mainly due to the finish. Cena and Owens were neck-and-neck with each other throughout the match. As it progressed, Cena and Owens kept exchanging momentum, and Owens even used several of Cena’s signature moves and taunts. In doing so, Owens established himself as a major threat for Cena.

In the end, it was Owens that emerged victorious over Cena after a hard-fought, 20-minute match. This was a critical victory for Owens, as it was still very rare for Cena to lose cleanly at that time. So for Owens to defeat Cena in their first PPV match together made the match itself seem much more important in the grand scheme of things.

This is a great match to watch because of how well both Cena and Owens wrestle. The only reason it doesn’t rank higher on this list is because the crowd was relatively quiet, especially when compared to the other Cena matches on this list.
