Dave Bautista wants another run in the WWE. However, he wants it on his own terms. Will the powers at WWE grant his retirement wish?

Dave Bautista has been killing it as of late, but not in a WWE ring like he did for 14 years. Bautista is a big movie action star these days. He has been in films such as SpectreRiddick, and The Man with the Iron Fists. However, he is enjoying his biggest success as comic book hero Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The film’s second installment just did huge numbers at the box office this weekend and the next Avengers film is on the horizon. With all this going for him, why does he want another run in the WWE? And guess what… Batista wants one last run in WWE against Triple H.

“The Animal” is a six-time WWE World Champion and really has nothing to prove. In a recent interview with the Talk is Jericho podcast (h/t WrestlingINC for the transcription), Bautista talked missing wrestling but, not the company stating:

"“There’s nothing like it. [Jericho] know[s] how it is. There’s just an adrenaline rush that goes along with it. What I don’t miss is the company, to be honest with you. I don’t miss WWE. I miss wrestling. I just don’t miss dealing with the company and its bulls–t. Yeah, the bulls–t, man. It’s just too much bulls–t.”"

Next, Batista would go on to talk about wanting to do a storyline with Triple H. After all, Batista won his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H at WrestleMaina 21. As of now, it looks like it’s not happening.

"“I’ve asked [to come back]. I’ve asked. I’ve asked for what I want. I’ll tell [Jericho] and I’ve talked to Hunter about it and I’ve talked to Vince about it. I said I would come back and run a whole program with Hunter. That’s the only thing I’m interested in and they’re just not interested in it."
