Ember Moon Interview

Moon talked about her first NXT Women’s Championship opportunity, and how she missed out on the second chance. First, she said she’ll be turning to Royce and Kay, and then watching the title match next week.

Brooklyn could be Moon’s moment. It won’t be like Bayley’s from 2015, but she’ll have a chance to create a memorable momeny by being the first one to defeat Asuka.

No Way Jose vs. Killian Dain

Result: Killian Dain defeated No Way Jose via pinfall.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Dain came out with a modified SAnitY theme song, which had some Irish-sounding music in the background. He wasn’t alone, though, with Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe by his side — at least for the entrance.

Big things are obviously in store for Dain. He already competed in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33, and probably isn’t far from a call-up.

Jose was away for two months, although no injury was ever reported or confirmed. So the Dominican wrestler’s ailment may have been storyline.

Great Balls of Fire Promo

We don’t usually include a random commercial promo about a WWE PPV, but anytime that Great Balls of Fire logo comes up — you know, the one that looks like a specific body part — it’s hard not to make fun of it.

Afterward…

Let’s transition from that, to the crowd chanting “fuzzy wuzzy” at Dain. That’s new.

Dain, not surprisingly, got the win. Although Jose was given his moment to shine, even getting a few near-falls. However, until he gets moved to the main roster as a low-card act, he’ll be involved in matches like this.
