WWE Universal Championship Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman/Roman Reigns

Brock Lesnar won the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleManai 33, but didn’t make his first title defense until Great Balls of Fire. This saw him defeat Samoa Joe to retain the belt, following an intense build.

Lesnar looked dominant, despite the strong showing from Joe, who could use another title shot. However, with Summerslam approaching, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

For Lesnar’s opponent, it probably should be Braun Strowman. He targeted belt in April, but nothing came of it. Then came Great Balls of Fire, with his win over self-proclaimed No. 1 Contender, Roman Reigns.

However, it’s no guarantee this follows through. Reigns smashed the ambulance Strowman was in, into a semi-truck at Great Balls of Fire. The Monster Among Men, somehow, walked out of the ambulance, but with the way he was presented, he could be off the next episode of two of Raw.

If Strowman isn’t around on Raw, then Reigns may step in as the next contender to the Universal Championship. It would make it too late for the former Wyatt Family member, who then goes on to something else at SummerSlam.
