What If The Miz is WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 34?

The Intercontinental Champion Miz is no doubt the popular character in WWE now.

Ever since the brand split last year, the Miz has made quite a name for himself in SmackDown Live. His epic promo targetted at SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, on the August 23 episode of Talking Smack, suddenly brought the A-lister into the news, all of a sudden.

The Miz rose like Phoenix from the ashes, taking shots at Bryan while mimicking his moves in matches to get cheap heat. Even there was speculation about the creator of Yes! Movement facing the self-proclaimed A-Lister at Grandest Stage of Them All, if only WWE could clear Bryan to return to ring one more time.

Miz’s series of matches against Dolph Ziggler brought the prestige back to Intercontinental Champion. Later on, his feud with Dean Ambrose elevated the glory the title once held. He even made a stale Mixed Tag Team match against John Cena and Nikki Bella looked like gold, with back & forth promo which in a lot of ways made people believe Miz could pull off a victory.

Now, moving to RAW,  he is champion again. The pairing with Maryse & talking skills makes him a complete package, which WWE doesn’t seem to have. Also, take into account his Hollywood projects which he proudly wears as part of his gimmick makes him natural heel.

More from WrestleMania

As Triple H pointed out in one of his conference calls, Miz is the best of the microphone in WWE right now & won’t be surprised if Miz is Champion by end of 2017, which gave many heads turn.

As WWE Universal Champion dates looked booked until Wrestlemania 34 where Brock Lesnar will drop the WWE Universal Championship to Big Dog.

So does Miz really has a chance to be WWE Universal Champion again? Mind you, he held WWE Championship last time in 2011.

But given his recent work, Maryse & Entourage by his side Miz can be a force to reckon with. Currently, the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is booked in a four fatal-way match probably to drop the championship.

If that happens and the championship appears weekly on Raw, then Miz could challenge the champion in a one-on-one match, triple threat or fatal four-way match, & then go on to win via help from Maryse & the Miztourage.

Meanwhile, Miz is still being underappreciated by the crowd & the RAW GM for not getting the respect he deserves, Miz would unveil his wild side getting the clean win over some beloved babyfaces like Finn Balor or Dean Ambrose, & destroy them after the match with cheap chair shots like he did with John Morrison & R-Truth last time he had Championship.

Miz’s promos could get harsher, too. He could even have someone like Heath Slater added to Miztourage to make it more dangerous with three men. This way he can get heat for his way of winning, along with WWE seeing enough to put him in a match with Roman Reigns.

Brock Lesnar no doubt will hold marquee spot in Wrestlemania 34 with or without the championship, but the Awesome One for all his work he has put in now deserves to be in main event scene. He looks much more prepared than earlier when he was entrusted with the same opportunity during Wrestlemania 27.
