Roman Reigns’ Direction

Roman Reigns took the pinfall loss in the main event of SummerSlam as Brock Lesnar F-5’d him to oblivion. It likely sent Reigns out of the title picture for a little while, so he’ll need something new to do for the rest of August and into No Mercy.

Another Reigns vs. Braun Strowman match seems unlikely. Samoa Joe already had matches with the Big Dog, too. So, that leaves his future at a crossroads.

Reigns won’t take a PPV off, so he’ll need an opponent at No Mercy. Two interesting options are Big Cass and The Miz

Cass defeated Big Show at SummerSlam, albeit in an underwhelming match. However, if it meant more to come, then could WWE give the seven-footer a monumental boost to the top?

A more likely option is The Miz and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. It looked like he and Jason Jordan would feud until Miz pinned him clean at SummerSlam. If that ends their tensions, could something else line up?

John Cena Arrives

Since the start of the second WWE brand split, John Cena displayed his talents on SmackDown Live. However, that’s set to change after SummerSlam, where he defeated Baron Corbin to open the show.

As Wrestling Inc reported, Cena will move to Raw. He’s advertised for Raw shows every Monday until No Mercy, with the exception of a SmackDown live event in China.

Cena should jump right into the mix on Monday nights, with a marquee feud for the No Mercy PPV. Could that be Samoa Joe, who has nothing to do after losing his second consecutive Universal Championship match?
