4. Sasha Banks is the Best on the Main Roster

Pending Asuka’s call-up, which I will address later, I’d argue that Sasha is the best female performer on the main roster today. With all due respect to the likes of Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley, Banks is the crispest worker, is the best seller, and puts on the most interesting matches. Essentially everybody’s best match in WWE has come against Banks, and that isn’t really a coincidence.

I am of the belief that the most talented performers should have the championship most of the time. Bliss was white-hot at the beginning of her reign, but that aura around her was starting to fade. Banks has consistently worked great matches with Nia Jax and Bliss this year after regularly having four-star matches with Charlotte last year, so giving her the title will provide some more excitement.

When I watch Banks wrestle, I’m always amazed by her ring awareness and ability to make anybody look good. She makes Nia look like a legitimate monster by bumping like crazy, she makes Bliss look sinister and cunning, and she makes Bayley look like the high-level technical wrestler that she is.

Honestly, who wouldn’t want to see this kind of a wrestler holding the championship and elevating everyone else in the ring? As a babyface, her character work pales in comparison to Bliss’s heel work, but I’ll take that downgrade when considering the potential upgrade in match quality. Now don’t get me wrong, Bliss is underrated in the ring, but few can compare to Banks.
