4. Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkins recently made the new by losing his 100th match since his underwhelming return. However, as our very own Randy Wentworth noted, Hawkins might be slowly getting over. Moreover, WWE recently made sure to acknowledge his 100th loss in a row. They don’t simply do this for the sake of it. Creative might be having some plans with Curt Hawkins. Like Randy said in his post:

"Even though Hawkins is supposed to be a heel, his losing streak, the way he loses, and his use of social media are all starting to turn him into kind of a lovable loser. This is pretty similar to what happened to Heath Slater last Summer."

What if those plans were to eventually make him the next IC champion? Weird as it might sound, I would think, why not? Hawkins has a ton of charisma and would make up for a great interim champion. Moreover, the parallels between him and Heath Slater are hard to ignore. If Slater were good enough to be the first ever SmackDown Live Tag team champion, there is no reason why Hawkins shouldn’t be an IC champion for once on WWE Raw.

The fans are so used to seeing Hawkins lose that if he in turn pulls off something like this, it would be a massive shocker. The angle is really easy to implement as well. After disposing off his latest challenger, the Miz could cite a promo where he calls himself the greatest IC champion of all time. He would then address the fans and say he has found a worthy challenger.

Moreover, to make the match as fair as it can be, he could send the Miztourage and Maryse to the back. Then, as fans wait in anticipation, Hawkins could make his grand entrance. Miz could do what he does best and mock them. Then out of the blue Hawkins could pull off the greatest upset in recent history. Imagine the shock that would create!
