1. The Women’s Division Gets A New Story

Maybe this is too much to ask for, but I think we’ll finally get another storyline in the SmackDown Women’s Division. I remember back when “The Blue Brand” used to do an excellent job of using all of its women, including those who weren’t involved in a program for the main title. Remember back at TLC when we got a “Tables” match for the championship between Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch, as well as a match between Nikki Bella and Carmella? Yeah, those were the days.

Charlotte Flair hasn’t been a big part of the division lately, but that’s understandable due to her father’s situation. However, it’s ridiculous how Becky Lynch hasn’t been involved in any meaningful angle, because she is one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world and certainly one of the most popular babyfaces in the WWE. Unless if she really does have a knee injury, which has been loosely speculated on online forums, there’s no good reason for her to be out of the picture.

Lana is now Tamina’s manager, but we’ve received no meaningful development on that front. In fact, none of the women on SmackDown Live have been given much of anything except for Naomi, Natalya, and Carmella, who are all involved in the title picture. It’s time to add a new storyline in the SmackDown Women’s Division, and it would preferably be one that involves Charlotte or Becky.

Long-term, I thought the whole reason for having Charlotte and Becky on the same brand was to lead to a turn or feud around WrestleMania? They’re both faces and there is still time to develop things, but let’s do something with them. Then again, the WWE is probably just planning a “Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen” showdown at Survivor Series. So if that’s the case, at least just give us another Lana-Tamina promo that is slightly less awkward.
