Billie Kay and Peyton Royce vs. Ruby Riot (and Nikki Cross)

Result: Riot and Cross win via pinfall

Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars

A determined Ruby Riot wanted to face the “Iconic Duo” on her own, but William Regal said that he could only offer her a tag team match. Riot is looking for revenge after a loss to Royce that involved heavy interference from Kay.

This match is supposed to be a tag team match, but Riot entered the match on her own without a partner. Kay and Royce quickly took advantage, taunting Riot constantly over her lack of a partner and tagging frequently in this handicap match.

All of a sudden, Nikki Cross (of Sanity fame) emerged from the crowd to watch, ominously hovering around a rather one-sided beatdown. Things took a turn briefly when Riot kicked out of a double-team move, leading to Kay to complain to the referee. Then, after avoiding a punch that led to Kay hitting her own teammate, Cross got herself involved and tagged herself in.

The complexion of the match changed after Cross’s hot tag, as she hit Royce with her swinging fisherman neckbreaker. She then tagged out of the match and left to the back. Riot, completely confused at why Cross decided to align herself with her, ascended to the top rope to hit Kay with a senton to finish the match.
