Dakota Kai
Dakota Kai is a cute, spunky, and fun character that has yet to debut on television for NXT. If that wasn’t enough for the New Zealander to stand out, her athletic ability will make fans notice her. While her journey to the quarter finals wasn’t easy, Kai was able to tap into her wealth of experience to get to that point.
One could say that her match with Kavita Devi was that of David vs. Goliath. Kai had one of the Classic’s best moments when she nearly decapitated Devi with a running boot. She demonstrated that her kicks are her best weapon, delivering the skill with such speed and viciousness that fans were stunned when it happened. Kai might be cute, but she’s a beast inside the ring.
Having Kai on NXT is a great addition and will bring some depth into the women’s division. All three of her matches with Devi, Rhea Ripley, and Sane were good showings for the former Shimmer star. Her future is promising indeed. It’s a matter of time before she makes her way onto NXT TV, and when she does, it will be a rude awakening for the women’s division.
