The Smackdown Live Tag Team Division

Highlights of the division

The Usos scored another win over the Hype Bros this week on Smackdown Live. It was finally confirmed between the Usos and the New Day that their title match will be inside Hell in a Cell. It’s fitting to have their historic rivalry conclude inside the steel structure, for the rest of the divisions sake. The tag team division has literally been on lockdown since May when the New Day inserted themselves into the title picture. When this rivalry concludes in two weeks, both teams will need to be separated from each other. The only scenario would have to be a trade to Monday Night Raw.

The Hype Bros lost another tag match for the third straight time, this time against the Usos. It was teased on the Smackdown Fallout that the Hype Bros might face off against Gable and Benjamin based on their heated interaction. It’s honestly time to turn the Hype Bros into heels and give them some sort of run in the division. They are too good to be jobbers to the likes of the New Day and the Usos. Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder are bona-fide title contenders in the mid-card division and they should be treated as such in this respective division.

Breezango will make their return next week for another episode of the Fashion Files. This team has definitely rebranded themselves as the comedy act of the division but what direction will these skits go? The conspiracy surrounding their office being trashed and the abduction of Fandango was never solved this past summer. This is the only avenue that needs to be addressed and these skits will need to have some sort of direction towards that conspiracy.

Let’s see the rankings for the division this week.
