WWE SmackDown Top 5 Segments: Sami Zayn Eviscerates Daniel Bryan

Number 3: Pulp Fashion
Last week’s Fashion Files was a teeny tiny bit of a stumble in regards of the quality we’ve been grown accustomed to. Nothing serious, not insulting by any means, but just… you know… meh.
This week Breezango are back in form, hitting all the right notes with a flurry of Pulp Fiction/Tarantino references along with their usual wrestling in-jokes (John Cena being ID’d as Mr. White made me chuckle greasily). The Ascension were also great, as they seem to be fully embracing their goofball support role to Fandango and Breeze.
The greatest tool in the Fashion Files’ arsenal is how it self-aware it is. Dango, Breeze and whoever in creative are working on this seem to be channelling their frustration at the forced lack of continuity directly into the skits. I mean, those references to jumping the shark to the obviousness that “2B” stands for the Bludgeon Brothers may be a little on-the-nose but are hilarious nonetheless. There’s a “We hear you, fans” quality to it and that’s what keeps it special. The Fashion Files is fan service. It’s fueled by fans and creative, apparently, gets it.
It’s also fueled by Tyler Breeze in drag. He never seems to miss an opportunity to dress in drag. Bless him.
