WWE Survivor Series 2017: Match Card Predictions After TLC

Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal
Who would have thought a year ago, when Jinder only had one win since his return and was treated as a joke, that this match up would seriously be considered as the main event of Survivor Series.
Well, the match we have all been dreading may actually happen. WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, has extended the challenge over to the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, and Lesnar will be responding to that challenge on RAW.
With rumors of Survivor Series being centered around brand warfare, it would make sense to have Brock accept this match, so each brand’s world champion would be represented in one match. It is just a bad look for SmackDown Live to have Jinder be compared as an “equal” to The Beast.
At least, with this matchup, Jinder Mahal can finally afford to lose clean and still look strong. Also, if you thought it was fun to watch Randy Orton attack the Singh Brothers, just imagine what will happen when Brock manhandles them and takes them to Suplex City.
This will hopefully be the beginning of Mahal’s downfall as champ as he comes back down to reality, while Brock Lesnar continues to get built up so that Roman can take the strap off of him at WrestleMania 34. Or…we could see Jinder Mahal be the one to defeat Brock Lesnar with his horrid Khallas. Let us all hope the result will be the former and NOT the latter.
Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. The Usos
Another champion vs. champion match could take place at Survivor Series. In fact, the seeds may have been planted for this one a while back, and I even wrote an article about this match potentially making the Survivor Series card.
It is hard to argue against the statement that these are the two top teams in the WWE. The Usos have had a resurrection in 2017 and have been putting on match of the year candidates every time they step in the ring, especially with The New Day.
On the Raw side of things, Seth and Dean reforming The Shield has been one of the hottest topics of the back half of 2017, and these guys aren’t just hype. Their rivalry with The Bar has been incredible, and the crowd is so invested in each of their matches.
This match would also be a safe option if Roman Reigns is not ready to go or be a part of a major angle for Survivor Series. He was severely missed at TLC, but this is a match that Rollins and Ambrose would be able to handle on their own.
