The RAW Tag Team Division

Highlights of the division

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins had a huge night at TLC, defeating the The Miz’s team with the assistance of Raw GM Kurt Angle. Now they are officially thrusted into a Survivor Series match with the Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions the Usos. Both teams have had their war of words with each other on Twitter the past few months. So it’ll be definitely fascinating to see how this match builds up. I wasn’t a fan of seeing Ambrose and Rollins get taken out by the Smackdown roster at the end of the show because it diminished their importance as tag team champions. The WWE will definitely need to be careful moving forward on how they protect the Shield without Roman Reigns on their side.

The Bar with their consecutive losses at TLC and Raw are officially out of the title picture for the long haul. It looks like they’ll be joining forces with the Miz in the short-term which is fine but kind of silly. Both Cesaro and Sheamus don’t need to be forming a stable with the Intercontinental Champion but the WWE have reduced this amazing tag team into the Miz’s henchmen. They might play a role in the build up between the Miz and Baron Corbin’s match at Survivor Series.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the division…

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows weren’t even shown on TLC but only on Raw when they got jumped by the Smackdown roster in the closing segment. This is the perfect time for them and Finn Balor to reform the Club and try to exact their revenge with the direction of Kurt Angle. These guys are the former Raw Tag Team Champions and they shouldn’t be blindsided by attacks, they should be the ones dishing them out. You clearly didn’t see the Bar getting attacked by the Smackdown roster, so Gallows and Anderson shouldn’t be subjected to that type of beat down. The WWE should take advantage of this opportunity while it’s still there.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
