The Smackdown Live Tag Team Division

Highlights of the division

The Usos will be facing Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins at Survivor Series to determine who is the best tag team in the WWE. Both teams have literally clean out their respective divisions for sometime now so it’s fitting that we’ll get to see this huge matchup. The Usos looked to be the favourite in this match based on their longevity as the perennial team of the WWE. They have always found ways of winning matches in creative ways and this marquee bout in November will be no different.

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin scored the biggest win of their tag team tenure when they beat the New Day on Smackdown Live. This team is somewhat getting into the groove by portraying themselves as competitors who are outsmarting their opponents. Last week when they confronted the Usos backstage and whiffed their handshakes to them, it added a bit of intrigue to their dull characters. We’ll need to see more of that with the combination of victories to give them a shot to dethrone the current Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions.

So it looks like it’s officially the returning Erick Rowan and Luke Harper who were the culprits of attacking Breezango and thrashing their office during the summer. With the Ascension basically laying it out in the latest instalment of the Fashion Files, it looks like the Bludgeon Brothers will be the resident monsters of the tag team division. Seeing Rowan and Harper run rampage on Breezango and the Ascension will be awesome to see.

Let’s see the rankings for the division this week.
