WWE SmackDown Top 4 Moments: Stakes for Survivor Series

Betterer Fashion Files
A strong SmackDown Live will always have a strong Fashion Files skit. Always. Remember last week’s show? Pretty so-so show. Look at this week: Pretty good show. So we had a pretty good Fashion Files.
This week’s episode had everything that was lacking from last week: the quick dialogue, the clever references, the self-aware absurdity, Tyler Breeze in drag… everything clicked. When the dialogue started firing, nothing could be done to stop it:
- “Sweet Winona Ryder.”
- Tye Dillinger isn’t another “Eleven” but a “Ten.”
- Uggo waffles.
- Viktor as Barb.
- Tyler Breeze telling Viktor “You look like you got pulled out of a pool drain.”
- Viktor saying that he’s “about to get Barb’d.”
And the kicker came once Konnor calls out Tyler Breeze for letting everyone beat up on him, and Breeze’s response was a snarky, satisfied “Heh heh, yeah.”
The Stranger Things references were spot-on and were complimented wonderfully with Fashion Files in-jokes.
I only hope that the Fashion Files end before they start to drop in quality. Seeing that Breezango got over doing this skits as opposed to wrestling on a weekly basis, I would hate if they were to start losing their heat because the segments started sucking. Like they say in show business: you have to quit while you’re ahead. But this is WWE, whose motto sometimes feels like: “Milk it for all it’s worth.”
