Predicting the winners and losers of this Saturday’s WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames

In what is becoming the norm, the NXT brand for the WWE has what looks like, on paper at least, another stirring card for this Saturday. The match card will feature two title matches, two grudge matches, and of course, the return of WarGames. It’s been over 17 years since WarGames, originally a WCW invention, has been contested and over two decades since one of these matches has been any good. Something tells me that with the caliber of the six men competing in Saturday’s contest, this might just be the best one of all-time.

Outside of that match, there will be a fatal 4-way contest for the NXT Women’s championship, which became a reality after Asuka’s promotion to the main roster. Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce, Ember Moon, and Mae Young Classic winner Kaire Sane will all vie for that belt. Also, Aleister Black will take on The Velveteen Dream while Kassius Ohno goes to battle with Lars Sullivan.Topping it off will be a NXT Championship defense by Drew McIntyre against Andrade Almas.

Can the newest addition of TakeOver live up to the lofty standards of its predecessors? One way to find out is to tune in Saturday night to the WWE Network. In the meantime, let’s predict the winners and losers of WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
