Tag Team Match: The Bludgeon Brothers vs Breezango
It’s time to get Harper and Rowan going again. These two guys are a tremendous duo and could be in line for some serious business in the blue brand’s tag title picture very soon. Their combination of size, power, and athleticism made them one of the more dangerous tag teams when they were vying for tag team gold back in the summer of 2014. Their most notable match was a tremendous two out of three falls battle with current SmackDown tag champs, The Usos. Could another program with these two squads be on the horizon? Let’s hope.
The choice for Breezango to be The Bludgeon Brothers’ first victim is an obvious one. It could be revealed that it had been Harper and Rowan all along forging the attacks on Breeze and Fandango. But if they don’t want to go that route, Breezango is still a decent enough team that a win for the heels would be significant. Enough to elevate them into title contender status? Possibly. It may take them having to get through The New Day first, but that can be on an episode of weekly television and can be done in perfect time to set up a title match for the Royal Rumble.
If Breezango isn’t an option, the WWE could always throw The Hype Bros into Clash of the Champions to be fodder for Harper and Rowan. But Breezango seems to make a little more sense. It probably won’t be the greatest match of all-time, but it’ll be an exhibition for The Bludgeon Brothers to get over and begin their march toward the belts.
