3. AJ Styles Needs a Long WWE Championship Reign

As if The Phenomenal AJ Styles’ stock could rise any higher, it has done just that over the past few weeks.  Styles has proven he is the best the WWE has to offer and the most reliable as well being a guy the company can count on.

Since winning the WWE Championship from Jinder Mahal on the Nov. 7 edition of SmackDown, The Phenomenal One has raised his stock even higher with his match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.  The two arguably stole the show and Styles helped Lesnar reach a level of in-ring brilliance he hadn’t seen in several years.

On last night’s SmackDown, Mahal announced he would invoke his rematch for the WWE Championship at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view before the Singh Brothers unsuccessfully tried to jump Styles from behind.  Styles gave the Modern Day Maharaja his best match since being part of the WWE on Nov. 7, and the same could happen at Clash of Champions.

But given how well Styles has been in recent memory, he should not lose the title back to Mahal at the pay-per-view.  In fact, many believe The Phenomenal One should carry the WWE Championship into WrestleMania 34.  And that is absolutely appropriate given how reliable Styles has been and how he continues to prove his value in the WWE.

The best wrestler in the WWE deserves a long title reign and the same can be said for the man Paul Heyman calls the best in-ring performer of this generation.
