4. Jinder Mahal Should Break Away From The Singh Brothers

The rise of Jinder Mahal over the past several months has had its fair share of supporters and detractors.  The Modern Day Maharaja went from an afterthought to the WWE Champion practically overnight and had a near six-month title reign before falling to AJ Styles on the Nov. 7 edition of SmackDown.

And since losing the title and losing the opportunity to challenge Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, Mahal has had his sights set on regaining the championship.  Last night’s SmackDown shined a light on what Mahal should do in the future to help further his character and give it more legitimacy.

After Mahal and The Singh Brothers attacked Styles before the 2-on-1 handicap match pitting the Singh’s against The Phenomenal One, the WWE Champion got the upper hand and defeated the Singh’s.  Furious after the match, Mahal laid out both Singh brothers.  This isn’t the first time Mahal has taken out his frustrations on the Singh’s, but it could lead to a changing of the guard.

Mahal should break away from the Singh’s in the near future if he hasn’t already.  Proving he can carry his own weight without help would do wonders for his character’s legitimacy in showing he is a true main event talent.  Having the Singh’s by his side works most of the time, but it gets to be too much after a while.

The WWE has tried its hardest to make Mahal seem like a true WWE Champion, but one way to help elevate him into that status is to break away from The Singh Brothers.
