WWE Royal Rumble 2018: 3 Improbable Long Shot Surprise Entrants for Women’s Royal Rumble Match

Aksana
Speaking of former WWE superstars who were there more for looks than wrestling ability…
For newer fans, Aksana competed on the WWE main roster from 2011-2014. Prior to that, she was a part of FCW, where she won both the Divas Championship and the Queen of FCW crown. In fact, she’s the only wrestler to hold both titles at the same time.
More from Royal Rumble
- CM Punk will return to WWE after 10 years at Royal Rumble 2024 (Prediction)
- Early predictions for WWE Royal Rumble 2024 winners
- Top three moments from the 2023 Royal Rumble
- Listing 5 wrestlers who should have won a Royal Rumble match
- Top five Iron Man (and Woman) performances in the WWE Royal Rumble
But Aksana’s main roster tenure was not quite of the same caliber as her time in FCW. Heck, even her stint on the game show version of NXT was better than what she did on Raw and SmackDown. The big highlight of Aksana’s WWE career? You have your choice – her realtionship with Goldust designed to get her a green card (don’t ask), or working as Cesaro’s manager and introducing each of his five languages. It wasn’t the best of times for women in WWE.
Since her release in 2014, Aksana has worked for precisely zero wrestling companies. The former bodybuilder is on just about no one’s radar as 2018 kicks off. So naturally, I’m expecting her to show up as one of the 30 competitors in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
Aksana could show up just to have a backstage segment apologizing to Goldust for how their wedding went back in the day. Or she could enter the Rumble and join forces with her old tag partner Alicia Fox. Who wouldn’t want to see “Foxana” reunited?
