WWE Royal Rumble 2018: 3 Superstars That Need A Win The Most

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

Has the WWE ever seen a superstar quite like Shinsuke Nakamura?  The company has seen its fair share of unique individuals over all of these years, but nobody has been quite like The King Of Strong Style.

Nakamura had a standout career in NJPW before making his way to NXT, where he had more tremendous success.  The WWE universe anticipated his arrival to the main roster and got it on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 33.  And for a while, Nakamura’s momentum seemed unstoppable.

He got off to a red-hot start on Tuesday nights, but after an unsuccessful feud with then-WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, Nakamura’s momentum began to fade.  The King Of Strong Style has been floating around with no clear direction as of late, but many feel his lack of direction will dramatically improve at the Royal Rumble.

In a Royal Rumble match, it’s hard to say one specific individual needs a win.  But in the men’s Royal Rumble match this year, that distinction goes to Nakamura.  A mega match at WrestleMania 34 is at stake with many clamoring for Nakamura vs. AJ Styles.  Plus, how awesome would it be to see The King Of Strong Style win it all?

The WWE can still give fans Styles vs. Nakamura at WrestleMania without the Royal Rumble match, but seeing Nakamura win it all just feels right and a needed move for the company.
