WWE Raw Top 5 Segments: Braun Strowman and His Bass
By Joe Hulbert
3. Rebuilding Rollins…Again
The less said about the start of this segment the better but nonetheless, Kurt Angle’s announcement that Jason Jordan would miss WrestleMania neatly transitioned to Seth Rollins’ arrival. Just quickly on that topic though, what a terrible shame it is that Jordan is missing out on the grandest stage of them all, he’s been exceptional since shifting his character and deserved a chance to shine under the WWE’s brightest lights. Anyway, back to Rollins….
Seth said he can relate to Jordan and pointed out that just a few years ago, he cashed in his Money in the Bank and left WrestleMania as the WWE Champion. To use his words, he was on cloud nine before being forced to vacate his title and miss out on WrestleMania. To make it worse, he now finds himself without a clear route onto this year’s big show (not that one) but he wants a chance to change that. Rollins didn’t want another tag partner though and instead wanted to be added to this show’s aforementioned main event.
Rollins also said that he didn’t want to be a part on Monday Night RAW but he in fact wants to actually be Monday Night RAW…high hopes. As we know Angle added him to the match and it must be said, everything Seth said here was grounded in reality and that allowed for an incredibly strong delivery from him. Really good verbal performance and though Reigns is the obvious Chamber favourite, they are doing a good job of giving the other participants some individual direction and momentum. That really helps give layers to this whole thing.
