Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

To this point, the reunion of Finn Balor with Gallows and Anderson has been uneven at best. They had a few decent matches at the beginning of their run. But the vast majority of the run has been “Finn Balor does his long entrance, and Gallows and Anderson stand in the ring Too Sweet-ing.” It’s cool, but it doesn’t really accomplish anything.

This week, Balor had his own business to attend to with the Second Chance Qualifier for the Elimination Chamber. So the Good Brothers finally got their rubber match with The Revival. You would think if Anderson and Balor were able to beat the Top Guys, the actual tag team combination from the Balor Club would do the same.

Nope.

Prior to the match, Gallows and Anderson cut one of those promos with half the words on the screen. I’m waiting for one to eventually say “CLICK LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE, HOOT.” For all their nerd talk and such, they forgot one important thing – The Revival don’t play games. So an attack before the match is something Gallows and Anderson should have been ready for.

Nope.

Fighting from behind the whole time after the sneak attack, Gallows and Anderson did put themselves in a position to win. But they fell victim to great tag team chemistry – something former IQGP Tag Team Champions should probably have. Maybe things will turn around once we get closer to or past WrestleMania, but for now the Good Brothers need some helpski.
