1. Is creative revisiting the original formula that got Roman Reigns over?

Roman Reigns just can’t stay on the crowd’s good side for a long time. The Big Dog finally got the fans on his side after losing his cool and attacking Triple H at TLC 2015. However, those days seem way back in the past now that the fans (at least a very vocal majority) love to boo him day in and day out.

Whether or not Reigns deserves more respect from the fans is a debate for another day. The topic of discussion right now is something else. The Big Dog is slowly winning over the WWE Universe over the past couple of weeks, thanks to some great promo works. After calling out Brock Lesnar last week, Reigns took a jab at Vince McMahon this week, claiming how Brock is Vince’s boy and why he doesn’t have to face any repercussions.

The angle seemed cliché at times but it did work. Personally, I enjoyed it and I would love to see Reigns show up in the crowd next week when Lesnar is in the ring, despite being suspended. That would have the fans cheer for him even if for a brief stretch. The plan might be for Reigns to be presented as the ultimate babyface in the main event picture and creative seems to be pulling out all the stops towards getting him there.

Like our own Tom Clark said, his suspension further cements his babyface status heading into WrestleMania. Now that Vince McMahon is in the mix, a lot more could happen. Creative could revisit the whole ‘Authority’ angle once more, with Vince and company actually wanting Lesnar to retain the title and Reigns revolting against the machine.

Or, creative could throw a curve ball at us and this could be the birth of heel Reigns, who aligns with Triple H and McMahon, so that he can finally get his hands on the Universal title without losing it too soon.
