WWE Raw: 3 Reasons Why Bobby Roode Should Turn Heel
Roode Was Meant To Be A Heel
There’s no doubt that Bobby Roode was a big star in NXT, and, contrary to what Dolph Ziggler would say during their feud, he was more than just an entrance. Roode oozed charisma, and his theme song and over-the-top entrance certainly helped him add to the aura around him. But Roode more than impressed with his savage promos, heel-ish tactics, brutal offense, and contempt for both the fans and his opponents.
Roode would constantly proclaim that the WWE’s third brand was his NXT. He’s admonish Strong week after week, belittling the scrappy underdog and insulting his family. Nothing was off-limits to Roode, who carried himself like a champion and made sure everyone in the arena hated him, even if they respected the hell out of his work.

We need that version of Roode on the WWE main roster, because that’s the best version of himself as a character in wrestling. Most wrestlers have that one character that clicks the most, and this is the case for Roode. He’s full of himself, he thinks he’s better than everyone else, and he can back it up in the ring and on the stick. Let Roode be that, and watch the excellent back-and-forth promos and heated rivalries in the ring grow from there on Monday Night Raw.
