The Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallager Vs Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik

Result: Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik Win With a Shooting Star Press

Grade: C

It seems as though the long rumoured Cruiserweight tag team titles are no longer part of the company’s plans, though, they clearly want to keep tag team action as a major part of weekly programming.

This week, we saw Dorado and Metalik take on Gallagher and Kendrick, who have slowly been building some momentum over the past couple of weeks.

The Lucha House Party are clearly being positioned as the top team on the brand, and that was further reinforced with their victory on this week’s show. The match was fun, though, nothing outstanding, with Gallagher’s unique in-ring style playing off well against the high flying luchador style of Metalik and Dorado.

Drew Gulak was also out on commentary for the match to further his feud with Kalisto. This match was a nice way to open the show but it would have been more interesting had Kendrick and Gallagher picked up the victory, this would have allowed them to continue their feud over the next few weeks. Instead, Metalik and Dorado have now disposed of the other two teams on the roster and have nothing to do going forward.

Tony Neese Vs Keith Claybell

Result: Tony Neese Wins with a Running Knee Strike

Grade: Squash

Continuing 205 Live’s recent formula of tag match, squash match, main event, Tony Neese was out to dispose of this week’s enhancement talent.

Neese has been picking up plenty of small victories over the last month or so, and is need of a proper program now. He looked impressive once again here, so let’s hope they can find a nice little feud for him in the coming weeks.
