2. Finn Balor Defeats Kevin Owens After Last Week’s Attack

After losing to Braun Strowman two weeks ago, Finn Balor had the perfect opportunity to get a big win back on the “Monster Among Men” on Raw last week. But instead of hitting the behemoth with a second Coupe de Grace, Balor was attacked from behind by Kevin Owens, who couldn’t keep his mouth shut on commentary. Owens was likely jealous that Balor was set to defeat Strowman, since Owens couldn’t beat him about a month ago in a qualifying match for Money in the Bank, so he decided to ruin Balor’s chance of victory.

Balor will get his revenge on Owens tonight when the two square off, and I’m hoping this will be the main event of Raw. Lately, Balor has been putting together tremendous main event performances on Monday nights, including a match with Strowman and a fierce battle for the Intercontinental Championship against Seth Rollins.

Meanwhile, Owens has been at least as impressive in his matches, which include a memorable bout against Rollins for the IC Title, which felt fresh despite the fact that the two used to have many matches over the Universal Championship.

I’d say Balor needs this win more than Owens as the babyface, especially since KO one-upped him last week with that attack. Of course, the audience will be the real winners, because KO and Balor always cook up something special.
