WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: Charlotte Flair Defeats Becky Lynch

1. Andrade “Cien” Almas Defeats Sin Cara

Sin Cara is a veteran presence on the roster and had some entertaining matches with Baron Cobrin months ago, so he makes sense as Andrade “Cien” Almas’s first feud on the main roster. The two had an interaction/non-interaction backstage, because when Sin Cara tried to chat up his old pal, he was chewed out by Almas’s business associate Zelina Vega. She forbade Almas from speaking with Sin Cara, clearly showing that she doesn’t want Almas to have friends on the main roster and that she believes Sin Cara is inferior to Almas.

The two should clash tonight on WWE SmackDown Live, and I wouldn’t even expect this feud to be extended to a pre-show match at Money in the Bank. Keep this feud on television only and get it over with quickly. But at the same time, let Sin Cara have a semi-competitive match with Almas, who gets caught off guard by his first real main roster opponent before decisively winning with a Hammerlock DDT.

I like Sin Cara in the ring, and he’s a lot stronger than some people think. This match, if it happens, should be a good one, but Almas should move on to bigger and better things quickly. The United States Championship is just calling his name at this point, especially since Jeff Hardy probably won’t hold the title for much longer.
