Pro Wrestling EVE brings strong talent, great action and some big surprises in Badass Bitches from Mars.

Get ready to get unstuck in time with Pro Wrestling EVE. Badass Bitches from Mars is the last EVE event that took place before WrestleQueendom, but was released on the video service afterwards. It’s a doozy of a show as always.

Kasey Owens and Millie McKenzie burn the house down, Nina Samuels dominates a firecracker four-way (but she still isn’t as cool as Leah Owens), Viper and Livvii Grace go literally head-to-head, and Charlie Morgan continues to live up to her nickname as the Fearless Ace of EVE.

While much of the build in this event has already been paid off by WrestleQueendom, this show is still well-worth your time. Read on for our takes!

Kasey Owens VS Millie McKenzie

HARMONY: It’s obviously not surprising that McKenzie and Owens kicked things off with an incredible match. Owens is an Pro Wrestling EVE favorite, but McKenzie is  a 17 year old wrestler known as a prodigy who is already drawing comparisons to another young female wrestler you might be familiar with. McKenzie is eager to prove herself, and of course Owens is eager to not be defeated by a seventeen-year-old relative novice.

At the beginning it almost seems like Owens might be a little too confident- she smiles and laughs and does a bit of slapstick -but McKenzie makes it clear she’s there to be taken seriously. I liked the way they matched each other move for move, trading suicide dives and crossbodies and showing they are equally skilled. It was a slow moving match to start, but it escalated well and it was awesome to watch them both pull out all the stops to try and take each other out.

Owens’s running knees are a thing of beauty. The end of the match was a showcase for McKenzie’s awesome suplex skills, and they did not disappoint. Kasey won this one by the skin of her teeth- and that flying knee at the end was amazing -but McKenzie definitely had her moment.

This is the kind of match that is difficult to describe in a compelling way, because it’s practically a clinic. If you like wrestling, you will like this match. If you don’t like wrestling, I am not sure why you’re reading this anyway. Millie McKenzie is absolutely a talent to watch and I expect her to do big things in Pro Wrestling EVE this year. Can she have the Suplex City thing? It’s not like the guy who uses it wrestles that much anymore anyway…
