3. Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks

The earliest of Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair’s squabbles occurred in NXT. Originally, the two were paired with Summer Rae as apart of The BFFs, before the two rookies started feuding against each other over the NXT Women’s Championship.

About a year after the fact, they both got called up to the main roster at the same time. Their encounters would be limited to tag team matches at first, before feuding in early 2016 in a three way rivalry with Becky Lynch over the Divas Championship, and subsequently, the Raw Women’s Championship.

In the wake of that year’s Brand Split, they would lock horns in a one on one feud for the title, with The Boss defeating The Queen to win the Women’s Championship on the July 25th episode of Raw. Throughout the rest of the year, these women would trade the title back and forth in a surplus of main events. Not only were they the first women to main event Raw since Trish and Lita in 2004, they were the first women to ever main event a WWE main roster pay-per-view.

The Superstars traded wins in matches like Hell in a Cell, Iron Man, and Street Fights. The feud established the two as career rivals, unmatched equals, and main eventers for life. It also helped kick the Women’s Revolution into full gear, and helped audiences view women’s matches as on par with or better than the average men’s match.
