1. Constable Corbin

Baron Corbin lost the Money in the Bank briefcase before SummerSlam last year in comical fashion, as John Cena costed him and started laughing with the rest of us afterwards. While Corbin didn’t end Jinder Mahal’s reign as WWE Champion, he arguably accomplished something even more extraordinary by taking the United States Championship away from AJ Styles and then successfully defeating him on the following episode of SmackDown Live to defend the title.

On Raw, Corbin hasn’t been able to shoot for any titles, but now that he’s the “acting GM” in place of Kurt Angle, he could easily insert himself into a title match. And why wouldn’t Constable Corbin, who still has world title aspirations after last year’s Money in the Bank debacle, gun for Reigns’s Universal Title?

Recall that Reigns has gotten the better of Corbin several times over the past month. He punched Corbin backstage and laughed, and he called Corbin a “dumbass” last week. Both of those actions were totally warranted in my book, but I’m sure Corbin feels differently.

There’s no way in hell Corbin defeats Reigns, but these are two former NFL linemen with ridiculous amounts of strength and agility. Corbin quietly looks better every time I watch him, whereas Reigns has been among the elite in WWE for years.
