The New Day Celebrate Their Tag Team Championship Win

Last week, The New Day finally dethroned The Bludgeon Brothers to become five-time WWE Tag Team Champions. The crowd in Toronto was, naturally, in love with the trio, begging for pancakes. Better yet, Xavier Woods gave a shoutout to Dragoncon, which was quite fabulous. Oh, and Kofi Kingston made a “Like A Light” reference…

Just before they could steal Booker’s “five time” line, King Booker’s music hit! The crowd gave him thunderous “Booker T!” chants before the five-time WCW Champion and ruler of the SmackDown World made his speech.

Booker calls Woods “Xavier The Wise” and Kingston “Kofi The Brave”, but he gives no such title to Big E, who is incensed. He goes as far as to say that Booker went “Full Saxton”, and, well, that was too much for us to handle! Eventually, tempers cooled, as Booker welcomed The New Day to the five-time champions club.

Better yet, Booker took off his royal attire to give the Toronto crowd a Spinaroonie before Xavier, Kofi, and Big E followed suit.

New Day gets their own announce table, stocked with Booty O’s, as they will be on commentary for The Bar vs. The Club vs. The Colons!
